Dr. Jackie Jones-Hunt studied at Lancaster and Strathclyde University in the United Kingdom and Rutherford University in Canada in the Dept. of Consciousness Studies and Sacred Traditions. She was awarded a II-I Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Vocational Guidance, a Master of Philosophy and a Doctorate. Jackie's first degree was in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies and Religious Studies (World Religions.) Jackie has researched the experiential and the theoretical with regard to shamanic paranormal phenomena, obes, ndes and mediumship for over 25 years. Her 80,000 word dissertation culminated in a Master of Philosophy, which examined shamanic paranormal phenomena, out of body and near death experiences throughout the ages and cross-culturally. Jackie analysed examples of mediumship throughout the world from the dawn of time to present day and was awarded a PhD.
Jackie studied at Rutherford University--In recent years Rutherford University changed its name from Senior University and continues campus and correspondence courses. Senior/Rutherford University has always had sites at Evanston, Wyoming, USA, 200-2900, Simpson Road, British Columbia, Canada and has opened a more recent international site in Swaziland which is a former British colony.
Since a student Jackie travelled extensively in the Middle East pursuing her interest in spiritual history and associated psychic phenomena. Alone, Jackie finally emmigrated to Jordan and taught English while carrying out her related passion exploring ancient religious archaeological sites in Syria, Egypt, Israel, Palestine and Jordan . Her interest in the paranormal and psychical extends to the psychical elements inherent in ancient Egyptian, Hebrew, Jewish and Islamic (Sufi) traditions. Jackie has worked as a Lecturer and Student Counsellor in the UK , taught world religions and taught Islam at Warwick University . Jackie has taught Psychical Research/ Consciousness Studies at Warwick University and other colleges in the United Kingdom intermittently between travel and research for over twenty years. She is the author of the book entitled Seances with God: God through the Ages and she publishes articles on related topics. Jackie continues to tutor and write on Consciousness Studies/Psychical Research. Jackie currently tutors Consciousness Studies/Psychical Research at Strathclyde University and Paisley University, Glasgow, Scotland. These classes are adult non-credit bearing courses, not part of the undergraduate degree programme.

This is a novel and fascinating book on spirits and mediums in the Bible. It is exciting and an astounding shock for many people as it turns the tables entirely on orthodoxy and shows the mediumistic traits and practices of many eminent spiritual leaders, many of whom we hear about in the Bible. It is unique archaeological spiritual research on the accounts in the Bible and other spiritual leaders. The biblical mistranslations and reasons for them are also discussed in detail. There is a unifying spiritual message underlying the research of this book for all religions as they make contact with angelic and spiritual beings in order to gain spiritual insights and to make soul progress. I would add Jesus said of the heavenly sphere "there are many mansions in my house" but there are many ways of getting there as each individual soul strives to make contact with the "Highest and the Best" to gain spiritual growth and understanding.
Dr Jacqueline Jones-Hunts book contains an exhaustive survey of historical to present day literature concerning psychic sensitive's many of whom are spiritual leaders found amongst the worlds major religions. Shamanic mediumistic and healing exploits are dealt with in detail and they are shown to be the ancestors of oracles, seers and eminent spiritual leaders from various spiritual traditions leading to a scrutiny of the similarities between predictive, mediumistic, healing shamans and more modern spiritual mediums.
The book includes easy-to-understand theoretical scientific explanations of how psychic phenomena occur, including descriptions, definitions and clarifications regarding the complexities of psychic and other metaphysical phenomena. The book speaks of how otherworldly entities, apparently inhabiting an alternative co-existent dimension, communicate with us.
These alternative geo-psychic landscapes which are ostensibly visited and populated by animal and humankind's non-corporeal being, are explored from the perspectives of shamanism, the genius and medium Emanuel Swedenborg and esteemed, historic spiritual biblical and prophetic leaders, such as Moses. It is convincingly argues that Moses received the Ten Commandments and a new ethical code of conduct from his communications with the angelic, ethically orientated spirit guide named Yahweh. It is shown that God and Yahweh are two different beings. Angel communications have played a strong role throughout the whole of humankind's spiritual history.
