Many of the people I have known over the years like, love or adore Native Americans. Most folks are in love with the idea of an Indian or want to have "Indianess" in their own lives. This is usually prefaced with terms like "my great grandmother was an Indian Princess" or some goofy thing like that. All in all Indians enjoy a Hollyweridized version of them that is obviously false. Indians are people just like anyone else. The are known for their immense loyalty, warriors of amazing gallantry, and a love for their land that most died for, in one way or another.
These are lessons never to forget,
for anyone...
We are all Americans, Native or Naturalized! Remember this. Never sell nor give up your land. Remember Kantonka yotanka, (Sitting Bull). Remember the treachery of a few Government officials and some of Sitting Bull's own tribal people (bought off whore's) called "Federal Indian police". All these Politicians were against this great Spiritual leader of the Lakota, and about His Land. Before his assassination, Sitting Bull was the only one to show up and complain to the new illegal aliens Land Deal. Amidst the laughter at the "Injun in his Blanket" at this final deal to take over Native Indian Lands, he said, REMEMBER, I NEVER SOLD THIS LAND!

I am almost finished with my Philosophy class here. (Like I said, if most folks really knew Original Native History and ways, probably wouldn't be agreeing to some of the Land / illegal immigration policies currently going on.
Native people's (usually) invited and/or allowed foreigners to come here, to live too (originally)...under conditions.
If conditions were met, all was well.
They weren't.
As you know, Indians had the worst Immigration policy in the world...smiles...
They did nothing to stop the flow of illegals.
This policy was one of the worst in history...except the one currently attempted to be in law now.
Can we say, We never sold this land!
I remembered once when I was small and in 1st grade in school. Some bullies would run inline ahead of us...kids would get angry about the cutters and some good teacher (a fair official) removed the offender and put them back in the correct place in line or often would put them at the back of the line.
Even children know this line cutting is wrong.
Adults don't always play fair. So some authority needs to come make folks get back in line...or at the back of the line for cutting in line.
Beliefs are more important that rights, in the offenders minds. They believe "if I just cut in" its my right.
I have news for you, its not even your privilege.
You, the illegal...are not the problem.
Our Politicians are. In another paper, I write on what to do with them. It will work, and is totally non violent...and is constitutional.
Back to my little story...
Then, later in life, when I took my girlfriend to the movies, some clown and his girlfriend decided to literally jump in front of us and get in line ahead all other in this line that was too long for them to wait in.
These folks were not friendly and were willing to fight to keep their stolen place in line.
This was a big mistake with me.
I come from a long list of fighters...
Originally, One half of my family lineage used to be in the "quick haircut business".
These folks went away, quickly, without a fight.
For this, I am glad.
Recently new Federal laws were installed to protect us from terrorism. This cause great lines to be formed at airports.
Since I am a public speaker, I got in line, at the end...and it was line that was nearly a mile long.
I have never seen any line like it.
Once we all were at the last 100 yards some clown came up and got in front of a man in front of me. This line cutter (likely one who got away with it his whole life?) was dressed in an expensive golf shirt and shorts. When the man in front of him complained the man smiled, even laughed at times, and just looked off.
This experienced line cutter, knows that people, in most cases will "let it go after a short while".
Sound like someone you know?
Then the man complained to me of the line cutter. I smiled and said, "let me handle this".
He agreed.
I did not physically remove the man nor did I "agitate the line cutter". I simply focused on what needed to happen.
I wanted to teach him something about traditional Native American manners, of long ago, that are still good things to know and practice.
Don't cut in line ahead of many who waited for a long time. You are no better than the rest of us.
As we got close to the front near the check in point and baggage examination... the Golfer Clown was very confident and even arrogant.
I made my move at the precise moment.
As the Federal officer lady came over, I stepped out of line to meet her. (I told the man to save my place). He did.
"Officer, (as I showed my Identification) I am a Licensed Private Investigator in the State of Texas. I am also a licensed process server for the County Courts of Harris county. I serve process on County and Federal cases.
This man in front in the Golf clothing, suspiciously jumped in line ahead of everyone else. Others have complained but he remains "aloof, a loner, and holds on to that bag of his... as if its the end of the world.
No one can get him to get in the proper place in line.
I don't know what his problem is and I don't want to know. That is your job to check this guy out. I hope I have been of help".
YOU ARE A GOOD CITIZEN SIR. THANK YOU. "HEY YOU, COME WITH ME." she ordered, nicely.
He didn't want to go...and wouldn't. (Guess ya gotta go when your called! out of line) It was just like in 1st grade. This disobedient overgrown bully now decides the 'teacher' isn't going to make him do anything.
He complained that he would lose his spot in the line.
After refusing the order to comply several times...
(I really smiled then)
other Federal officers show up and "escorted" him to another place. This was a place where he could be first in line. It is called Homeland Security: and you pose as a person of interest.
The people in the line were now clapping. Praising me, as if I did something good.
It just takes a little courage to do...to stand up to the bullies in line. To stand up to those who cut in line and who are not bullies..
Yet I feel now, that there are those who may not share my sentiments. Who don't mind others getting into 'your' line, ahead of you.
There are those (politically incorrect folks) who have the luxury of not having to stand in line, they don't care if anyone cuts into The Line of immigration.
So I guess I must offend others who support those who are trying to do the biggest line cut "in the history of the United States"
I told you some of you really didn't like Native Indian thinking (which sometimes is just common decency for things to be in order).
Now, someone is cutting in front of the line again!
These line cutters are willing to fight too.
You have not seen the ugly side of them yet.
Most folks in the line (like you legal immigrants) are afraid to fight. You should. This was an invitation to you to come here. Fight for your privilege to come here. It is not a right. Your rights start when you are naturalized legally.
You have no idea of how many support you. Almost all of America. We voted for you to come here.
We actually thought you would love to come here and love this Country.
We believe you do.
That is why you are legally coming here. You meet all the requirements.
Amazingly enough we don't have to learn to speak Chinese, Turkish, Japanese, Spanish or other languages to converse with you.
Welcome.
You have so many who want you here.
Obey current policies. Invite those to this land who obey and love the country. Not those who do carry one flag to get in, and another (not this Country's) to Love.
I am also Irish as well as Native American. I do not fly an Irish flag over my home. Black Kettle (an good Chief of his people) flew an American one over his Tipi, before he and his people were slaughtered by the White Immigrants "they didn't invite in".
These Immigrants carried the same flag he did. They used the U.S. Army to do this slaughter.

This should still be so.
Originally the White man came and took all our lands.
Later these white men thought about a free country...and what that should mean to all...not just them. They got many concepts from the Judeo/Christian ethic, from the ideals of the powerful Iroquois Confederacy, and good moral sense. They believed in God.
People are not perfect.
Most stolen lands are for one of two reasons.
#1 the biggest real estate deal ever scammed from the original people's.
#2 to get in to other peoples lands/privileges (that own it currently).
White men made laws to make this next transaction legal.
It was called Manifest Destiny.
When they wanted to steal their own people's lands (this time): the white/man's, the black/white man, the Mexican/white man or others of his kind, the called it "Immanent Domain".
Now others wish to do a similar thing and they have a new name for it.
They call it undocumented Immigration.
Everyone (good people, of any kind) love immigration.
We all want it.
Legally.
All those who waited years to do this, legally, (some of my own friends still wait) now may wait as many more do. This cutting in line and the support of this politically incorrectness and unbalanced ness, seems to continue.
Find your own Balance,
Your own center of the world.
It is in the Black Hills for some,
other sacred places for others,
Churches,
Mosques,
Temples...where ever...is fine.
Find it.
It is not at the Border... of the United States!
If this Chaos you allow, or agree to, or commit these cuttings in line...it will one day will come back to haunt you.
It is to your shame.
All of us, White,
Native Peoples,
and to illegal especially.
You are looked down upon not because you are from other Countries, but because you do not like our Laws and ways.
IF you do this in any other Country they will throw you out.
In Brazil (I know) they will shoot you if you steal into their Country. You will follow the laws of any Country...but not here?
You bring your Country here! You work our country and send it back to yours....
When our Corporations do that kind of "outsourcing" we all hate it.
What makes you different.
If you want to be an American do this the right way. Don't cut into line.
If you are to be an American, be one. Stand up for what is right.
At virtually all our Native events, Pow wows etc., You will see an American Flag.
You will see us in traditional dress (some of the wild ones who are not ashamed of that).
You will see the American Flag, Loved and carried at all our events.
Now we fight for this Flag too, as we have as Patriots.
One day we fell in love with the principals of freedom and these new laws.
We love this Country.
Do not lose your center.
Do not be unbalanced...any of you, us, me.
Immigrants who obeyed the law.
We welcome you.
Now it is your turn...
To be and American.
There are bad times in History for us all...None worse that what happened to Us. Slaughter, Stealing of our lands, taking of our children, forced Concentration camps (Reservations), Relocations, The Trail of Tears where we cried, Wounded Knee, and more than they are going to teach you in your schools. We have had some bad history too.
We all have.
Let us not make another terrible mark against us all here.
Please do not exploit and shame this part of History that is good.

When many ran during that awful war in Viet Nam, I volunteered.
I joined not because I was of some party.
I did so because I was Red,

(and later) Blue.
I hated the war.

I loved my Country.
This will never change.

Recently, I have been threatened by an arm of Alkieda and their ilk, because of my Military Service and my CIA work connected to my Country, America.
I will likely be threatened by some of our own folks on this issue.
If these words have power then it is good. If they do not, then they should pass away, unnoticed.
Some will call me a half-breed for saying all of this. You will still be wrong. I am not even that.
Worse for (you) and better for us all,
I am a Patriot, and an American. I hope you are too. Fully assimilated!
I want Immigration. Lets do it the old way...the Constitutional way.
There are too many voices of discord, here, in this land now.
There is not a singular strong voice of accord.
If you want Our Country to survive (and all Nations have been taken over at some point, this we know), then you must be one voice for your Country (presumably the one you want into...The USA. This means you become an American. Not using the name but living another life/culture while ignoring the Country that gives you what yours cannot...freedom...of speech, liberty, the pursuit of happiness. This is not so with most of the world's peoples. I have been to many lands. This is why so many are clamoring to come here...in any way they can!
Speak as a voice of this "America"...
Not a voice against it.
It is not about Republicans or Democrats or Independents, or (many) who don't even vote.
Vote ! be heard.
It is about Your land,
Your Country.
Now it is about your decision. Let us see the Wisdom of your Actions, your obedience to our laws, and the gift this Country offers you, can be yours.
