The year was 1991 over the Millington, Tennessee Air Force Base. One man who I have known for about 2 years and have come to like and respect a lot has a story I just heard about last night. We were at a social gathering and were sitting there and talking about the many things that were happening in our world today. I brought up I was a UFO investigator and the sightings of them is greater now then it was about 10 years ago. From this comment my friend, Joe, had a story to tell and it is a first hand report that comes from the man who not only observed it but the aftermath of what occurred!!!!
Again the year was 1991 and JOE was a guard, Airman with an E2 grade, at the main gate of the Millington, Tn .Air Force Base. The sky was clear and the night was a slow night and things were going very nicely. The stars showed brightly and he could make out the constellations and the planets very easily. As he watched the clear over head sky some thing looked really "odd." What was it?
Well he could see all the stars but this "triangular object looked like a "triangle of stars that moved together." The object started at about a 45 vertical angle its zenith was right over head and then it traveled off in a Westerly manner the last time he saw it was again at about a 45 degree angle That was how he described it to me. Not an object that blocked out stars but like a triangle of stars that was moving all together. His further observation he gave to me was that it looked like it had a "mirror effect" to it. What does that mean?
The triangle observed made no noise and no observable wings, but he could, in his own words,"See it was a moving triangle of stars that passed almost directly overhead. The altitude was around 1,000 feet and he thought stars moving together as a triangle was very bizarre. His opinion was that the moving object that had the stars on it looked like it might be a "new camo" so this triangle would be hard to see at night." He was amazed as this object flew silently and was hard to see but he also commented that the "flying triangle" was blocking out constellations as it flew lower then them.
There was another Airman about 50-75 yards away from him. He yelled at the airman and asked if he saw it. The other airman replied that he did!!!!!! The travel of this enigmatic object flew right over the barracks and went right over the whole base and went out of sight as it gained some distance.
When Joe got off his shift he went in to log in the event in the log book about the event that occurred that night.
He made sure of the time, the place, the direction of travel and the approximate length of sighting. But the story is not over yet. These log books hold key information on each shift of each day and are there for a considerable amount of time.
So you log in then after your shift you log out and make any notes of anything on your shift. Very military guard has to do this it is mandatory. But the next day after the event, the log book with his sighting incident in it, but still pages that needed to be made out was GONE!!!! A new empty book was in its place!!!! This totally amazed him. He never found out why and of course he was not going to question his superior about where the log went to. When he left the military and up to this day He never could figure out what is was and what he saw. To him it was fascinating, enigmatic and has never seen anything like it before or since. His co military friend, who also saw this strange object that "floated silently and maybe reflected stars off the surface of the object was never brought up, talked about and never mentioned to him or was questioned by any of his superiors. So what was it?
Was it one of ours? Was it alien with new technology? Was it a new test of new technology? It makes me wonder. But this airbase, who most of it now is gone, was not far from town of Millington, Tn. Why would a Military test be done so near a rural town? If it was to remain secret they would want it done secretly. This friend of mine does not recall nay mention of it in any local papers. The whole matter was dropped. Just one more "unknown" in a series of the military list of unknowns.
The truth is not out there but in log books from every American Air Force bas in this country and all over the world. We, as citizens, Should demand the truth as always, THE TRUTH IS WHAT SETS US FREE!!!!!
