Granted this is an old book, it was first printed in 1994, but although I have read it many times, this book is a must read for any serious ufologist. Why? In it you will probably not read these subjects anywhere else.
The front cover has an under heading: "It will change everything you've ever thought about UFOs." Brad was right. Along with Sherry Hanson Steiger this book will reveal some things you might not have ever heard about UFOs. Did you know these important facets of Ufology. How over 50 years the truth has been hidden. In 1943, the Project Rainbow was begun. Project Rainbow was designed to render the US Navy warship invisible to enemy radar; the experiment had astounding results transforming our relationship with ETs forever.

I know this is an old book, like a lot of them that I write about, but if you do not understand what Ray Fowler, John Keel, Ivan Sanderson, Jacques Vallee, and Brad Steiger found out about many years ago, then it would be like reading the last chapter of a book and ignoring the beginning.
Brad and Sherry Steiger, like the rest of these authors, were there in the 50s and 60s. They were some of the first pioneers in the research of ufology. From the MIBS, to the current ETs of today, Brad probably has more inside knowledge within the UFO community then most other researchers do today. I would not sit half way through a movie and ignore the beginning. Would you? I don't think so. With all of our governments information and all the years our pilots, both military and commercial, have seen and reporting UFOs, should we ignore them? No! WHY? Because it was men like John, Brad, Jacques, Ray, Allen Hynek, Kevin Randle, Whitley Striber, Don Berliner, Major Don Keyhoe and even Charles Fort that were the forerunners of this mysterious and often elusive paranormal activities that also are a part of the puzzle that form the whole picture of the ufo activity that we are seeing today. I contend, to get an even and overall look at what we call the "UFO Enigma" you can not look at it from a single minded and somewhat blind look, but from the sightings from 10,000 BC to the current age right before our eyes.
Painters that did paintings over 2,000 years ago enrich our world. Phantom entities in the biblical period to the mysterious anchors in the roofs of churches in the middle ages to the still enigmatic crop circles of today, their is a link! What, why? I do not pretend to know or have all the answers, but they are out there for you to find. Go to your local library, or bookstores and find Brad Steiger, Ray Fowler, John Keel, Major Keyhole, and Jaques Vallee's books. The list does not stop there. Do you know how many books there are on the paranormal world? From Astral Projections, UFOs, mysterious beings, ghosts mind reading, plus psychics and the whole enigmatic world that surrounds us every day. It is out there!
What books would I recommend? Start with Brad Steiger and john Keel's older books, and then keep reading through to books that are current from Kevin Randle and Stanton Friedman and the entire collection that goes from when man could write on stone and into the future. Brad Steiger is a great place to start, but do not miss any of his writings, because he was there in the 50s, and is still writing strong. The world needs more writers like this; he does his research and does it in an easy to read and understanding way. Do not miss any of these authors, they are important to sources of information for both you and me. Brad Steiger, like John Keel, I believe, knows each other. Their normal world is one of mystery, intrigue and is never boring. By reading their books you will not be bored either
