'Operation Trojan Horse' was a book by John Keel who was a personal friend of mine that helped me endure the invasion and intrusion of my home and life from the MIB. He even went out of his way to write to a psychologist for me. He was a friend, a mentor and actually helped me with my investigations and my mental health.
Most people think of John Keel as the author of 'The Mothman Prophecies', which he is, but he was much more than just that. He was not only an author, but a hands-on field investigator who visited many sites throughout the world. He traveled the world finding cases that others would not bother with. He once even did a Halloween show on the 'War of the Worlds' inside of Dracula's Castle for the servicemen, but again, John was much more than just that.
He was one of the old time investigators whom had his own research and investigative methods. He went to the sightings himself rather than just sitting back waiting for a sighting to come to him. He traveled most of the world in search of the enigmas that haunted this little globe, which included the Himalayas, the orient and most of the other countries of the world to not only to confirm cases, but also to disprove those that needed disclaiming.

I have written before about John Keel, and unlike others he went all over this globe discovering and ascertaining the facts, both true and false, of UFOs, the occult and of the many mysterious events that has engaged this planet.
Recently John had a heart attack, but I have heard that he is doing better, which gives me a great sense of relief knowing that my good friend is still around and doing well. John was the man that worked UFO and occult events "out of the box." I know both Brad Steiger and John Keel share some of the same kinds of investigative techniques. Neither of them limits their investigations to just UFOs, but both men investigate all kinds of unsolved paranormal type mysteries and go to the scenes to investigate the mysteries first hand. They both have a sense that all the enigmas of the paranormal are somewhat intertwined. 'Operation Trojan Horse' is one of those books in which you will see information that you might not see anywhere else. When John writes, sometimes he does it in a sardonic way, but it does get his point across. This book was first printed over 30 years ago, but still can be found found today. Some consider this book to be "one of the most influential books in the history of Ufology." His research and articles began in 1945, but still to this day his interest to these mysteries has not withered.
So what are some of his findings over all these years? 'Operation Trojan Horse' is filled with this information:
- Is there actually a massive conspiracy to keep the truth about flying saucers from the American people?
- Are some people being subjected to mind control and psychological injury?
- Who was the mysterious stranger who appeared in San Francisco in 1896, convincing 2 leading attorneys that he was the inventor of a marvelous new airship seen by thousands in the California skies?
- What roles do prophecy, the occult, and psychic phenomena play in the flying saucer mystery?
- Is UFOS part of a larger phenomenon, which is primary hostile to the human race?
John has many books that pertain to the enigmatic world we live in and he was the first investigator to research the "Mothman mystery." He was, very much, a hands-on type of guy. He did not just rely on reports, but unlike most, went out to the occurring scenes and investigated and interviewed actual eyewitnesses.
There are a lot of great researchers out there today, because the subject of UFOs and the paranormal is a fascinating subject. IllumniNET Press says on its back cover that 'Operation Trojan Horse' is, "One of the most Influential books in the history of Ufology."
I have over 250 books on ufology and related subjects. You name it and I probably have it, but my two favorite authors of all time in the world of paranormal and UFOs are John Keel and Brad Steiger. These two men know each other and respect each other's work. However, if you want your library of UFOs and paranormal activities complete, then buy any of John Keels and/or Brad Steiger's books. None of their books will ever bore you, but instead will entertain, enlighten and open your mind to new realms and possibilities, which will show you that life is more than just what you can feel and smell.
