Contrary to the Evidence that Jesus, Yeshua in Hebrew, was hung on a cross on Friday afternoon and rose on Sunday morning let us search the real story.
Many Christians may doubt me, but we are going to read the Bible as it was in the New Jerusalem Bible and I will use those verses, plus some other books that I will make note of.
First let us look into the things that YHWH forbids his people to do.
Deut 17 verses 2-3: If there is any one man or woman, among you, in any of the towns given you by Yahweh, your God, who does what is wrong in the eyes of YHWH your God by violating His covenant who goes and serves other gods and worships them, OR the SUN or the Moon or any of heavens array a thing I have forbidden this person is denounced to you." Also Jeremiah 8 verses 1-2 also say it very well. How about the worship of the cross, or in Jesus time they used the crux simplex, a simple plain stake. What does God say about that? Jer 10 verse 2-16.
So if we take that for what it says then any worship of any idol would not be permitted, nor the worship of the morning sun at any day of the year.
Now when did Jesus die? We know it was just before the Passover and not during the Passover. No Jews were allowed to be killed during that Jewish holiday. When was Passover? Certainly the bible tells us when. In Joshua verse 10 it tells us that the Israelites pitched their camp and kept the Passover there on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening.
Now what does this have to do with Yeshiva's death? The churches will tell you that Jesus died on Friday afternoon and rose on Sunday morning, but the scripture in the New Testament tells us a totally different story. Why? Well let us hear about what Jesus said about his death. This ties directly to Jesus death. Jonah 2 tells us that a great fish would swallow Jonah for three days and three nights. From the belly of the fish Jonah prayed to YHWH, his God. What was the sign that Jesus gave to his disciples? In Matt 12 verse 38, Jesus said he would be in the earth for 3 days and 3 nights. How can that be from Friday and Sunday?
What some people do not know is that Jesus was never mentioned after his family had to go find him when he went and talked to the rabbis. And about nothing of his teen age years, or even his early 20s. Why, because, in and around Jerusalem there was the community of the Essences. Their week was different then the Jewish week and contended that the sun appeared one day earlier then the orthodox Jewish week. So if Yeshua died and remained in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights, then he would have to have died on the day before of the Essence's Passover, which was Thursday night and not Friday. So to make it work then Jesus would have had to die on a Wednesday afternoon and rise after sunset on Saturday night. Essences and the Jewish days started at sunset and went to sunset to make the whole day. So in Reality Jesus died on a Wed afternoon and stayed in the grave Wed night, Thursday night and Friday night and the days would be Thursday, Friday and Saturday rising in the dark after 6 pm on Saturday night. The gospels confirm it as when the two Mary's went to the tomb in the dark, and Jesus and was not there. So who is right and who is wrong? As I have already shown that worship of the sun is an abomination to God, who knew that as scripture bears this out. We should worship the Father in spirit and the truth. What denomination does that?
