Now here is a book for the serious investigator or a wonderful book for some one who wants to read what a serious investigator really does. Complied from Ray Fowlers investigations of really true UFOS and also some of the ones that he investigated that he sniffed out as not so reliable. This book has 18 chapters that deal with the history of UFOS and those that have been contactees and also the critics. These beginnings of the contactees and the governments part in down playing the whole enigma. From there he goes into his first sightings and investigations and what makes one a good investigator of this "out of world enigma." Some of his first encounters with the UFOS were with family members and his fascinations with the whole Out of worldly experiences. He helped set up the criteria of a great investigator and started out as an investigator with NICAP. He also goes into the other groups history as well. APRO, as well as some other fringe groups that had other agendas. But as a scientist and as a former USAF Security Service member he had some inside idea of what they did. He brought that to the table as a highly trained USAF insider.

Ray Fowler was a metiticulous investigator. Nothing got past him. If it was not done right it was not done at all. His concentrated and intense investigations were some of the best in the whole UFO field. You can follow his first works and how he evolved into one of the best UFO investigators in the whole world! When you read this book you will understand why. The Beverly Mass sightings, the wild goose chases, the "Haunted witnesses" the experienced witnesses and the pressure from the Government and their attempts to follow him and get information from his sources. Read about the 4 dead bodies of aliens that Wright-Patterson had. Walk with Ray Fowler as he researched and help set up the criteria for investigating UFOS for MUFON.

Ray Fowler was also the one had spear headed the Incident at Exeter investigation and worked with the likes of Walter Webb of the Hayden Planetarium in Boston and also worked with John Fuller and any one else in the UFO field in the whole of New England! I know as I was one of whom he worked with on some cases and I found a lot more for him and his organization to help me solve and to get input and direction on a lot of cases here in New England.

Here was a man who was an amateur astronomer and made his own planaterium in his own back yard. He invited school children to come in and study the heavens for nothing, to expand and educate future astronomers right there on his own property!

This book is one you do not want to miss as it goes back to the history of the UFO enigma here in New England. Rays acumen, his style and intense style and his knowledge of space, human nature and how to get the best out of the people he worked with and get to the bottom of things and to write reports that even the Federal Government had to admit were some of the best reports and meticulous and well done in the whole country. They are here in this book. If you are a UFO investigator, a researcher, an interested person in the history of UFO sightings and want to find out how one of the best UFO investigators of all time worked, DO NOT MISS THIS BOOK. It will enthrall you, mystify you, leave you with a sense of what is "out there" by one of the best investigators ever to go out in the field searching for the truth!

It is one mans journey and life time passion to sacrifice his personal time to help solve the most fascinating subject this world has to offer. This Is Ray Fowlers journey. If you do not read this book you will not know why today we are where we are. He was pioneer, a scientist and a dedicated family man that gave up a lot to the further study of UFOS then probably any one out there. ALL of the Investigators of today should read his books, especially this one. If you have a UFO library and do not have this book, your library is not complete.
