My personal life has always been a little kooky. No one has a normal life but my life has had no normalcy to it, which continues to this day. Last Wed night, at around 3AM on the 4th, my wife woke me up to tell me some one was banging on the outside wall of our mobile home. I told her she was nuts. As I was talking to her I heard this loud banging on the outside wall and it sounded like it was near the window. So naturally I thought some one was trying to get in.
I got up, got near the window and waited of the noise again, BUT I HAD AN ADVANTAGE!!!! I grabbed the cord to the window blind and waited for the noise!! When it started I pulled up the shade in about 1-3 seconds and NO ONE WAS THERE!!!!!! There was nothing. Being a little upset and shaken up I called the police to report there was an attempted break in. The night response woman told me it would take about 30-45 minutes to get to my house( but my house is about 3 miles away) so I told her to page an officer tell him to put down the coffee and donuts and get down here!!!! That is exactly what I said to her!!!!!!!!
About 35 minutes later the rather tall, rotund and beefy officer of the law told me not to worry.(Yeah right) So I grabbed my flashlight and he grabbed his. We were looking for tracks in the wet, tall grass. There were none. We both looked by and near the window, there were none!!!
The officer and myself searched the grass and the sand in and around the circumference of the mobile home about 10-12 feet in all directions, there was not even a hint of any disturbance.
I told him of the blind incident and he looked at me as a "kook."
Being officers of the law I was not looking for any resemblance of the concern for our safety. Then his next intelligent question was what do I think he wanted....I said if I am living in a extremely low income park I sure did not have any money or anything of value. So he asked me what other things they may have wanted. So I thought.
The answer I gave him was stupid on my part. I should remember I am having an intelligent conversation with The towns finest!!!! I told him I was a UFO INVESTIGATOR and recently I have been looking into recent cases in the area and I have a sign on my car reading,: MUTUAL UFO NETWORK INVESTIGATOR and I had some leads in and around the area. Maybe some one was trying to get at my records and slipped or fell trying to get in my house to gain access to my records and files. The next comment from this brave man of high intellect was, "WHY?, Do you think the aliens are trying to get in your house?" I told him rather nicely, "NO, I never said that". I told him that some one might think my office is in back of my home and trying to gain access to it. Again this high intellect of an officer replied, "Why would they want to do that?"
So he made out the report asked me to sign it and I did and walked off laughing. I asked him To stop a moment and asked him If he could send a police car around the park every 30-45 minutes. He told me "NO, We are to busy." I ascertained that his coffee was getting cold.
The next morning I went outside in the daylight and looked around. There were no tracks any where, no ladder marks in the ground but there was a tiny screw driver size hole in the screen where it looked like some one tried to lift the screen to get at the window to open it. I took a pic to the police station the next day.
The gal at the desk was nice. She said, "OH YES I see the hole right there" and pointed to it. She called over an officer and he confirmed he saw it also. I asked her if I could get a copy of the report she said yes but I would have to file for it. So I did.
I told her about the cop who asked me if I thought aliens were trying to get into my home. Then I said to her that I thought if "They" could get through this whole universe and elude our military aircraft they did not need screw drivers to open a screen window. She laughed.
Then her comments were(as she covered up the recording device) "the only aliens around here ride around in police cars" and she laughed, I did also She told me to keep all the lights in the house on all night as most potential burglars will avoid any lighted areas. So as not to be seen.
Then I told her the police officer had the nerve to hint to me I had a defect of my mind. But I told her that his theory of a ladder and tools would not hold water because within 2 seconds of the noise the shades went up and no one was fumbling with ladders or screw drivers or trying to get away. She thought that was strange and I told her this whole thing was strange and asked her if there was anything I should do. Her comments were, " Get a gun or knife, if they come in shoot the bastards. You have a right to protect yourself, but do not let them get out in the yard."
So from Paranormal bangings both inside and outside of my house and absolutely no evidence that night or the next morning of any tracks, markings or anything on the house I guess I will never know what things go BUMP in THE NIGHT!!!!Maybe it was some cop on high caffeine and stumbled in the wrong Dunkin Donuts!!!!!
