Capt. Robert M. Collins, USAF (Ret.), Author, Writer, Consultant and Editor, A former Air Force Intelligence Officer (Chief Analyst in theoretical Physics) at the Foreign Technology Division (FTD) now NASIC, Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio with an extensive background in Aircraft Avionics Systems, Ground Communications, and Engineering Physics totaling over 22 years. FTD was where the first UFO contacts were made starting in 1985 and continue to this day with research and publication of two book editions for "Exempt from Disclosure", 2005 & 2006.
Robert M. Collins is one of the purported members of a small group of individuals with past or present extremely high security clearances, who were working on various aspects of UFO research and policy and who began to interact unofficially on a regular basis to pool information. Their objectives were to coordinate data, see the big picture, analyze the meaning of UFOs and extraterrestrial contact with Earth, use this knowledge to gain access to additional information on Majestic-12 (MJ-12), the government's ultimate UFO information control and policy group, and gain special influence through their collective power.
This elite group of roughly a dozen individuals and perhaps other supporting insider contacts, working on national security assignments, gave themselves "bird code" names. Collectively, they were called the "Aviary." Robert appears to have played a key role within this group as a communicator, having maintained a no longer active web site for the purpose of group communication.
Robert's book, "Exempt from Disclosure", revealing much of the information gathered over the years by the Aviary about the reality of UFOs, EBENs and their interaction with the US Government and the government cover-up of the whole UFO reality was published in January 2006. A second, updated addition, with well over 30 percent new and revised material and an index, was released in early May 2006. This edition was edited by Victor Martinez.
